Basically the idea of Design for Help come from those people living in a bad environment, without standard living style and also does not contain any quality in their life. For example; children dont even got a chance to go to school, family living in a dirty, aftermath disaster area and self-build temporary insecure housing. These places not just unsanitary and also could be very danger because of the damages made for the building.
1. Un-Habitat (Picture 34)
The idea of Design for Help is to create a better living environment which provide for children to growth in a better, healthy way. The idea is come from an United Nation programme known as the Un-Habitat service. The mission of this programme is to help people towards with a better urban future, "promote socially and environmentally sustainable human settlements development and the achievement of adequate shelter for all" (unhabitat.org, accessed: 18 November 2014).
2. Habitat for Humanity (Picture 35)
Another programme with same mission is known as the Habitat for Humanity, which provide service by Chirstian ministry with the system of "the economics of Jesus". They advocate giving needs to human without seeking profit. " Shelter from wind, rain and cold is a basic human need " has become their mission, to make the world better. Most of their workers are volunteer from all over the world (habitat.org, accessed: 15 November 2014).

3. UNHCR (Picture 36)
UNHCR or known as the ‘United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees” is an organization that formed at Dec 14, 1950, with a parent organization of United Nation. UNHCR is now lead by Antonio Guterres. The aim and objectives of UNHCR is to protect the refugees and resolve their problem worldwide, save the well-being and right of the refugees and also to help stateless people.
The background of UNHCR
UNHCR first appeared and formed to help the refugees from suffer during the World War II. It established by the United Nations organization with a 3 years mandate to achieve its work and then disband during the Dec 14, 1950. After the World War II, it was facing the first major emergency by the 1956. When Sovient forces crushed the Hungarian Revolution, crushed the cause the huge number of outpouring of homeless refugees. UNHCR is needed again and resurfaced to complete its work. In the 1960s, numerous of refugees in the continent of Africa cries for UNHCR intervention during the decolonization problem.
UNHCR achieved their first ‘Nobel Peace Price’ during the 1954 for its groundbreaking work in helping the refugees of Europe. After 27 years later, UNCHR won again their second ‘Nobel Peace Price’.

Poverty Iraqis seek for a safety place to stay to prevent the winter falls and temperature drop.
From the report done by the UNHCR, they found out many Iraqis families have less income and maybe facing the problem of no income during the winter. They couldn’t make it to pay for a monthly rental of USD 200 during the low-income period, and also they have nothing to prevent from the winter falls and temperature drops. They have to seek for UNHCR’s help for the free temporary camp living. Until now, more than 3000 displaced Iraqis are living in the camp in Arbat transit that located in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, in the Kurdistan Region of the Iraq (KRI).

“Tent camps are for those without money and who have nowhere to go”, says the 46-year-old Khalaf, a former construction workers in Sinjar. “Those who complain most about living in camps can usually afford to live elsewhere.” (unhcr.org.uk, accessed: 3 Jan 2015)
