4. Function of Emergency shelter

As an emergency shelter, it has to brings out the function of what it been designed to be. An emergency shelter must able to protect the users against the direct sunlight, heavy rain, heavy snow, and strong wind. In addition, emergency shelter must able to keep the refugees belongings and protect the property. Emergency shelter also can help families to rebuild their family. Emergency shelter also will provide the user a new and temporary address. The main functions of the emergency shelter are to reconstruct the mental of the refugees and to bring out the humanity of love for human. ( Gevena, May 1982, pg 8)
